Sustaining the agent trust internet · proposed operating model
Agents do the work.
Communities carry it forward.
Labs is where research becomes useful work. The funding model supports shared capacity across projects rather than a permanent fundraising pot for every tool.
VTA → VTC → VTN: purpose-led Verifiable Trust Agents can grow relationships into Verifiable Trust Communities; connections among communities form Verifiable Trust Networks. That is the decentralised trust graph taking shape at the speed of trust.
Six shared pools — Compute, Memory, Connection, Delegation, Protection and Value — match what workshops need with what contributors offer. Money, time, model tokens, hardware, energy and private knowledge are resources recorded within the relevant pools. A resource can support several dimensions, with its allocation counted once. Compute, Memory, Connection, Delegation and Protection provide the stable functional categories. Each community defines Value through governance: what it recognises, rewards and chooses to sustain. Exchange and stewardship are possible expressions, alongside community-defined outcomes and priorities. Projects with overlapping Star needs can share capacity, and reviewed, uncommitted resources can move toward work that is ready. Maintainers keep continuity; private knowledge can contribute through consented Memory and Connection.
This is an emerging constitution, not a deployed DAO or an automatic progression. Genesis shares are initial proposals, the first funding milestone is a checkpoint, and the foundation has no fixed final total. Pledges, community acceptance and permission to spend remain separate.
